Our Wedding Registry

Your presence on our wedding day is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. We're fortunate to already have many of the things we need, so we've kept our registry intentionally small.

If you would like to give us a wedding gift, we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution toward something we're working toward together — buying our first home.

We're excited to begin building a life and a home of our own, and your generosity will help us take that next step into this new chapter.

For those who would prefer to choose something tangible, we've also added a few favorite pieces to our registry on The Knot, which you are welcome to browse.

OUR STORY

Some stories take a little longer to find their way to the ending they were always meant to have.

Thirteen years ago, on an ordinary Saturday afternoon, Eddy walked into the mall—where Katie was working.

Neither of us knew it then, but that afternoon would become the beginning of our story. We talked, laughed, teased each other, and somehow found every excuse to keep the conversation going. Eventually, we exchanged numbers, and a Saturday at the mall became the beginning of a relationship.

We dated for about a year before life took us in different directions. Eddy moved to Colorado, and we went our separate ways.

A few years later, we found our way back into each other’s lives—this time as friends. For the next eleven years, we watched each other grow from a distance through new jobs, homes, relationships, and different chapters of life. Somehow, though, neither of us ever completely disappeared from the other’s story. Then, in 2025, after eleven years apart, we had dinner together for the first time.

And somehow, it felt like no time had passed at all.

One dinner became another, and before long, we found ourselves falling back into something that had never completely gone away.

Looking back, our story feels almost perfectly timed. We met young, went our separate ways, found each other again, and spent eleven years growing into the people we were meant to become—only to find our way back to each other when we were finally ready.

Thirteen years, eleven years apart, and one dinner later…

We’re getting married!
